Music around the World: CHIMS
William Blix aka CHIMS is a Norwegian producer born and raised just outside Oslo. Growing up he played the piano for several years, always more interested in improvising than playing the notes his teacher placed in front of him. Around the age of 16 he started producing his own music, anything from hip hop beats to composing classical music. Influenced by all genres of music, his productions are very diverse even though he is mostly associated with genres like chillstep, downtempo, edm, hip hop, electronic and lounge. CHIMS has had releases on Blvck Bird Recordings, Insight Music and Miami Sundown. I am personally a fan of his work, and am proud to say that he and I have collaborated music wise on some of my projects.
